April 2012 marks the one year anniversary for Psalm 119 Greater than Gold. It has been a learning curve as I have sought to refine and define why I have this site. To be honest with you, when I started I thought it was a good way to advertise and make available, my book “Beckoned by the King“. I have learned that if you are going to want to read Beckoned by the King, you will want to learn more about me; I must share my struggles as well as my victories with you. We are on this journey together, it is together that we learn and stand strong as we encourage and build one another up in the faith.
My heart belongs to my King, I want to share what He speaks to me about, and be vulnerable and open. Share the journey. Share the whispers of love from our King. Share the pain and the sorrow, the heartbreak and joys of life. Do life together and make Psalm 119 Greater than Gold a place where you know you can come and find hope and encouragement, inspiration and a challenge to draw even closer to the King who beckons each one of us into closer relationship with Him.
Real is what I want to be, not just words written on a screen. I want to share the glimmers of hope in despair, the challenges of facing death with the promise of life. Every single one of us have been given a gift, it is unique and special and the King designed it just for us for the benefit and blessing for others. We are not in competition with one another, we are jointly fit together to make up the Body of Christ, each one operating in the gift we have been given.
